Visiting MEIKO in Offenburg

In early June, we attended a three-day meeting at MEIKO’s headquarters in Offenburg. We explored the company’s latest solutions for professional dishwashing, cleaning and waste management, and saw how its products are made.

At the MEIKO Experience Center, A.-K. Blum and J. E. Sharma introduced us to the company’s technologies and development plans. We also visited the MEIKO CLEAN Academy, where Ch. Ruess presented cleaning and disinfection solutions designed for settings including hospitals and care homes. A tour of the factory gave us a closer look at MEIKO’s production processes and products.

We learned about MEIKO GREEN solutions for managing organic waste from J. Tewes. In the showroom, M. Rohde and J. Meidinger demonstrated the MEIKO M-iFlow system. We concluded the visit with a discussion about professional kitchen design with K. Astor.

The visit gave us a deeper understanding of how MEIKO develops products around users’ needs. For professional dishwashing equipment, reliable operation, ease of use, effective cleaning and careful use of water and energy all matter. Proper maintenance and support throughout the equipment’s service life are equally valuable.

What we learned will help us advise our clients and select solutions suited to the way they work.
