As every year, the Kaza team headed out for our traditional spring teambuilding, taking some time to connect, socialize and enjoy new experiences together. This year, we chose a fantastic location near Ljubljana – Orehov Gaj, which offers everything in one place, from food and drinks to a variety of fun activities, including axe throwing, giant Jenga, tic-tac-toe, volleyball, bocce and badminton.
For our teambuilding activity, we chose axe throwing to find out whether it really is the most “axe-citing” entertainment around. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, we gathered at the venue, full of energy and eager to get started. After a few practice throws to warm up, it was time to get serious. We split into two groups, while the instructors guided us through a series of fun and challenging games. To finish, we competed in a proper knockout tournament. The team spirit was incredible, with every bullseye met by loud cheers and enthusiastic support from the whole team.
After the teambuilding, an All-In picnic package awaited us in the picnic area, featuring a selection of delicious grilled dishes. Two highlights definitely stood out: aged roast beef with mustard seeds grilled to perfection and pork ribs smoked for six hours over beechwood.
We all agreed that spending time together like this is incredibly valuable for team motivation, strengthening a sense of belonging and building strong relationships within the company.
