A New School Year Begins with a New Kitchen
The new school year has begun, and the kitchen staff at Franc Rozman Stane Primary School are stepping into it with a smile.
The school bell has recently rung again at Franc Rozman Stane Primary School in Ljubljana. In the school kitchen, however, it was the kitchen staff who had an extra reason to smile.
The summer holidays provided the perfect opportunity to renovate the kitchen. Kaza Sistemi once again had the opportunity to demonstrate how an outdated kitchen can be transformed into a completely new, modern and highly functional workspace – one that both the kitchen staff and the school principal can be proud of.
The cooking line was equipped with Gazi gas cookers and Gazi electric tilting pans. In the dishwashing area, we installed a Colged dishwasher for washing kitchenware.
The serving line was custom-built with a heated bain-marie with a heated cabinet, an enclosed counter, and a refrigerated counter with a display case.
To ensure that fruit, vegetables and meat are always kept at the correct temperatures, the kitchen was equipped with CoolHead refrigerators and freezer cabinets.
The students are delighted with the new addition to their school. One of the features they are particularly excited about is the salad bar, which is still not common in school kitchens. They can now choose and serve their own selection of fresh salad each day.
